| Department of Food and Nutrition seeks students who really want to acquire special knowledge of food and nutrition. Students should have thanks to those who eat the dish they make. They should concern about their health. Those who want to study in the Department are required to study the basic knowledge of biology, chemistry and mathematics. |

| Students are required to study both theory and practice in order to solve many problems about nutrition, food, cooking which are fundamental in our eating habit. |

Training of the nutritionist who performs dietary habits management and advice with a focus on nutritional knowledge is the educational objective of the Department of Food and Nutrition. This department features a curriculum which consists of various specialized educational subjects, such as Study of Food and Nutrition to learn the role of nutritional factors, ingredient characteristics in foods and how the appropriate dietary life should be,Food processing and Hygiene to learn the principles of food processing and storing and safety, Feeding Service Management including nutrition and operational management for mass feeding, Clinical Nutrition for medical knowledge and diet
Student also study related subjects broadly in order to gain comprehensive knowledge required as nutritionists. In Anatomical Physiology, the structure and function of the human body are learned and about the genetic mechanism in Biochemistry.
Furthermore, a course of subjects is opened, such as Exercise Physiology which considers the health promotion program through sports and Public Health which explores health problems from a social ?and- hygiene- perspective.
Students are able to acquire the Certificate of Nutritionist at the graduation time when they get credits necessary for the course.
